Dual zone is worth it if you drink both reds and whites — reds want 55–65°F, whites and sparkling 45–50°F, and a single-zone unit can only serve one properly. Bottle counts assume standard Bordeaux bottles; Burgundy and Champagne shapes are wider, so expect roughly 20% fewer.
