fire-pit-art-vesuvius
Fire Pit Art Vesuvius 48" Steel Fire Pit

A tall, three-sided wood-burning fire pit, 48" high, with a flue that draws smoke and flame up and away. The enclosed design shelters the fire from wind and cuts down on stray sparks. The heavy steel soaks up the heat and radiates it back. Made for smaller spaces. Wood burning only.

Each piece is made to order by craftsmen in Lebanon, Tennessee, from heavy 1/4" mild carbon steel. The inner bowl has a high-temperature coating and a 1½" rain drain. The outside is left to form a natural iron-oxide patina. It needs no maintenance and can stay outdoors in any weather. With use, the patina darkens a few shades and then settles for good. Every fire pit is numbered by the artist on a brass plaque.

Specifications

Dimensions

Width/diameter 21"; height 48"

Weight

150 lb (68 kg)

Material

1/4" mild carbon steel

Finish

Natural iron-oxide patina

Made in

Lebanon, Tennessee, USA

Warranty

10-Year structural warranty from Fire Pit Art

Caring for the patina

Do not cover the fire pit with a tarp.
