Fire where a flue was never going to go

Amantii build vent-free electric fireplaces for built-in installation, listed to ETL or CSA. They run on electricity alone, so there is no flue, no gas line and no building permit — and the front glass stays cool to the touch. The heater and the flame are independent: 1,500W and roughly 5,100 BTU when you want it, Amantii rate that for a room of about 400 sq ft, and the fire looks the same in July with the heat switched off.

Across the range you get Wi-Fi and app control, changeable flame colour, a programmable timer and thermostat, and crackle through built-in speakers that you can switch off. The three-sided Tru View and MultiView Holo models are open on three faces — the Holo adds a smoke and spark effect. The linear Symmetry and Panorama models sit flush in a single wall, and several are rated for covered outdoor rooms.

Each model has a specified rough opening so it finishes flush. Send us your measurements and we will check them before you order — we would rather do that than process a freight return. We are an authorised Amantii dealer with a direct line to their technical team.

Questions people ask before they buy

Straight answers, including the parts most retailers leave out.

Do I need a flue, a gas line or a building permit?

No to all three. These are vent-free electric fireplaces — they plug into an electrical supply and nothing is burned, so there is nothing to vent. Amantii list them to ETL or CSA, and the front glass stays cool to the touch.

Will it actually heat the room?

Partly. The heater is 1,500W, roughly 5,100 BTU, and Amantii rate that for a room of about 400 sq ft. That takes the chill off the room you are sitting in — it is supplemental warmth, not a replacement for your heating. The useful part is that the heater and the flame are independent, so you can run the fire all year with the warmth switched off.

Three-sided or linear — how do I choose?

It is decided by the wall, not by taste. Three-sided models (Tru View, MultiView Holo, TRD Signature) are open on three faces, so they suit a peninsula, a room divider or the end of a wall where people walk around them. Linear models (Symmetry XT, Panorama) are single-sided and sit flush in one wall. Several of the linear models are also rated for covered outdoor rooms — outdoors they need the stainless cover for the warranty to stand.

How do I get the opening right?

Every model has a specified rough opening listed on its product page — frame to that and the fireplace finishes flush. Send us your measurements before you order and we will check them against the model you are looking at. A freight return on a 200lb fireplace is worth ten minutes of checking.

Delivery and warranty?

Kerbside freight delivery is included, with a liftgate and a booked appointment. Stock leaves our US warehouse in 3–5 business days. Please inspect the crate before you sign for it — transit damage has to be noted on the delivery receipt.

Warranty is two years across most of the range and five years on the Bespoke models; the term is listed on each product page. You deal with us, not a manufacturer helpline.

Send us your rough opening before you order — we would rather check it than process a freight return.
