Care & maintenance
Before you clean
Switch the unit off and disconnect it from the mains before any cleaning or maintenance.
Water
Use clean water as set out in the manual, and empty and refill the reservoir as it recommends to keep the vapour effect clean and even.
Everyday
Wipe the housing with a soft, dry cloth. No fuel, soot or ash to deal with.
Manual first
Supply requirements and servicing steps differ by model — the manual supplied with your unit is the authority.

Warranty & delivery
3 Year manufacturer warranty. It is valid because this fireplace is bought from an authorised dealer — we administer it and are your first point of contact.
On delivery day the carrier calls ahead to book an appointment and places the crate at the kerb with a liftgate. Please inspect it before you sign. Any damage to the crate or the unit must be noted on the delivery receipt — that note is what lets us put it right at no cost to you.

Is there a real flame?
No. A water vapour fireplace creates the look of a flame from lit, fine water mist. Nothing burns, so it is cool to the touch and safe around children and pets.
What does it need to run?
A mains electricity supply and water — no fuel, no chimney, no flue and no gas line. Check the manual for the supply and fill requirements before you order.
Does it heat the room?
It is designed for the look of a fire rather than heat. If you need warmth as well, a bioethanol model from the same range gives both.
What does smart home control add?
Remote and app control. It is fitted when the unit is built, so choose it at order — it cannot be added afterwards.
How does delivery work?
Delivered free to residential addresses in the contiguous United States (the lower 48 and DC). We cannot ship Bio Flame units outside that area.
In-stock units arrive in 2–3 weeks. Built-to-order units arrive in 8–9 weeks. Each unit ships direct from The Bio Flame. Please inspect it before you sign for it — transit damage must be noted on the delivery receipt.
What is the warranty, and who do I call?
Three years, from The Bio Flame. You contact us, not the manufacturer — as an authorised Bio Flame dealer we take it up with them on your behalf.
