Wool Rugs

Wool and wool-blend rugs, most of them hand-woven or hand-tufted.

Wool is the fibre to buy if you want the rug to last. It springs back from furniture dents, resists staining without any treatment, holds dye better than synthetics so the colour stays true, and is warm to stand on. It sheds a little for the first few weeks — that is the loose fibre from manufacture working itself out, and it stops.
