Sideboards and buffets — long, low storage for a dining room, a hallway, or beneath a television.
Width is what makes a sideboard look right. Aim for roughly the same length as the table or sofa it sits near, and keep it under 45cm deep in a room people walk through. Check the door swing too: hinged doors need clearance that sliding ones do not.
