Optimyst uses ultrasonic technology to create the world's most realistic flame effect, with an ultra-fine water mist that mimics flame and smoke. As the mist rises through the logs, warm light is emitted which reflects against the water creating an incredibly realistic 3D illusion of flames and smoke which is commonly mistaken for the real thing. The thermostatic controls mean you can set your fire to produce heat when the room drops to a certain temperature, helping to maintain comfort in your home. Care
Quick and Daily Cleaning
Dust with a dry microfiber cloth or anti-static feather duster.
Always turn off power before cleaning.
Glass / Crystal
Use alcohol-free and ammonia-free cleaners (pH-neutral).
Spray the cloth, not the fixture.
Wear gloves when handling crystals to avoid fingerprints and dulling.
Replace dropped elements – cracks can spread micro-damage.
Metal (Brass, Steel, Coatings)
Use only a soft, slightly damp cloth; dry immediately.
Avoid polishing pastes, powders, and abrasive sponges – they strip the finish.
For unlacquered brass: occasionally apply microcrystalline wax.
Fixtures and Bulbs
Use bulbs no higher than the recommended wattage (overheating voids warranty).
When replacing, hold by the base, not the glass; allow to cool.
With dimmers: use dimmable bulbs (dimmable LED).
Suspension and Wiring
Check tightness of screws, cables, and canopies every 6–12 months.
Clean wires dry only; avoid sharp bends at the ceiling.
Moisture and Special Rooms
Bathrooms/kitchens: install only models with the appropriate IP rating.
