Instashade Eclipse 3m Square Cantilever Parasol
Description
The Eclipse is Instashade's heavy-duty, commercial-grade cantilever, built for exposed gardens and hospitality terraces. It has a reinforced frame and heavy-duty joints, rotates a full 360° and tilts to any angle. The side-post design keeps the space underneath clear. The frame is marine-grade aluminium and the canopy fade-resistant, UV-resistant and water-repellent. It stores upright in a compact shape.

Choosing a base
A bolt-down base plate fixes to an existing patio or deck. An in-ground base is set into concrete, so it sits flush with the ground and the parasol lifts out when not needed. A cross base is freestanding and weighted, so you can move it without drilling.

Care
Quick and Daily Cleaning
Dust with a dry microfiber cloth or anti-static feather duster.
Always turn off power before cleaning.
Glass / Crystal
Use alcohol-free and ammonia-free cleaners (pH-neutral).
Spray the cloth, not the fixture.
Wear gloves when handling crystals to avoid fingerprints and dulling.
Replace dropped elements – cracks can spread micro-damage.
Metal (Brass, Steel, Coatings)
Use only a soft, slightly damp cloth; dry immediately.
Avoid polishing pastes, powders, and abrasive sponges – they strip the finish.
For unlacquered brass: occasionally apply microcrystalline wax.
Fixtures and Bulbs
Use bulbs no higher than the recommended wattage (overheating voids warranty).
When replacing, hold by the base, not the glass; allow to cool.
With dimmers: use dimmable bulbs (dimmable LED).
Suspension and Wiring
Check tightness of screws, cables, and canopies every 6–12 months.
Clean wires dry only; avoid sharp bends at the ceiling.
Moisture and Special Rooms
Bathrooms/kitchens: install only models with the appropriate IP rating.
Avoid steam and corrosive products near fixtures.
Moving and Service
Remove shades/crystals for transport and pack separately.
Entrust electrical modifications to a certified electrician.
Do not tamper with wiring – it voids warranty.
Storing Parts
Keep spare crystals and screws in a sealed bag, labeled with the model name.
